Hi :)
Do i have to be a SG to be a part of the tribe? I've alwys loved SG's and love women that are piereced and tattooed and aren't afraid to go out of the norm of what 'beautiful' is and eventually would like to join SG's myself. Not sure if i'm really a right candidate though. I just had a look at all the pics and you are all so gorgeous. Not a barbie in site ... wicked ;)

Re: New
Tue, July 5, 2005 - 11:54 AMWell.... I think it's more a matter of completely ignoring what society thinks is "beautiful." Some SGs are literally covered in art, some have very little. Some are rail-thin, some are voluptuous. They're *all* hotties in every sense of the word. It's more that they identify themselves with a certain aesthetic, which I feel is much more healthy and natural than those that spend huge amounts of money to physically alter themselves into what another thinks is beauty.
What a lot of the barbie-types don't seem to understand is that they're perfectly lovely the way nature made them. The hell with getting boob-jobs, surgery, implants, etc. Personally, I'm a lot more attracted to women who have confidence in themselves, not just their looks. It's easier to appreciate someone when they don't make excuses for their looks...
Variety is what makes life bearable. If all women (or men, for that matter) had the same body-type or "magazine-looks," I think I'd really know what it meant to be in hell... Change yourself ONLY if it's something you want to do for yourself, not because someone tries to make you feel bad because of how you are. And frankly, lovely miss Wicked, you're gorgeous! Just a pity yer so far away... :(
As for me, I'm just happy to have found a place where the women that leave me gasping in awe at their beauty and wit can be found. Better still, one can contact them directly and begin a friendship. I've only been a member of the SG site for five weeks now, but I chat regularly with three of the lovelies... Life is good. :P

Tue, July 5, 2005 - 1:48 PMHowever anyone regardless of their looks or their gender (or orientation for that matter) can join SG. The models and their pinup sets are one aspect of it, it's an online community.

Sat, July 9, 2005 - 5:03 PMawww thanks very much kher :) I've never really been the 'barbie' type and would never change how i look for anyone but myself. I love being visually creativly expressive and have always adored piercings, tattoos, unique hair and a sense of style that is 'me' It's taken me a long time to be ok with who i am an embrace every aspect of me and i also love that in other people. Confidence is definitly one of the things i look for first in someone.... but not in that 'arragant' way if you know what i mean ;)
