SGs at Devil's Point in Portland? Anyone know?

I heard that Saturdays are supposed be "Suicide Girls burlesque and striptease." Does this actually happen? If so (praise be to Cthulhu!), are there regular performers we should know about? Inquiring li'l brainpans wanna know... :)

  • Check on the site, and I strongly consider joining the SG PDX group. I'm not sure which events in Portland are considered to be open, and which are considered to be private group functions. Best to check there rather than posting details on an outside location...

Well.... This particular event is advertised weekly. I'd assume that means it's open to the public. I'm just a-wonderin' if there are regular performers. The place is pretty small, so it would be "intimate" by default...

      • Like I said, I couldn't tell you. I see a lot of regular postings in the SG PDX group, but don't know what's public and what's not. If you're not sure, check the ad of hit up a fellow PDX'er on the site. I don't mean to give you grief, just that there are problems with non-members or non-group members who happen upon details of events that may not be so public, and then wind up showing up and being creepy. On SG the ratio of active members with profiles to anonymous members who you don't see is more than 20 to 1, on Tribe I suspect it's the same thing.

      • It's every Sat... the girls sometimes rotate, and they change from time to time.

If you're in SGPDX then you could just log in to find out who's dancing that night. If you aren't in SGPDX, come to Suicide Sat and meet some of the regulars.

I'll do that, thanks... Have a friend who works there on Sunday nights, but it's a different thang. The place tends to grow on you; very small and intimate. Of course, this can work against you with, uh... "not-so-fantastic" karaoke singers (a term I use very loosely). Trilo? I understand yer point, and there definitely should be events not open to all (helps thin the herds). I first saw this thing on a Portland-area city listing, though. Seems very public if I could just stumble on it like that. I'll swing by for a bit tomorrow and see how the show goes. Sounds like a blast! :)
